Former WCW and WWE Superstar Shawn Stasiak was in attendance at the Piranhas' Season Opening Party at G-Spot

On Saturday, May 17, 2003, the Piranhas Dragonboat Racing Crew held their First Annual Season Opening Party at G Spot Nightclub on 296 Richmond Street West in downtown Toronto.

The night was a success, as approximately 300 ticket-holders were able to bypass the lineup outside the club, while gaining access to the exclusive VIP floor overlooking Richmond Street.

Wrestling fans were treated by a surprise appearance by former WWE superstar Shawn Stasiak, who spent most of the evening in the Piranhas VIP lounge. Shawn left the WWE to further his education and is currently studying to become a chiropractor.

The event was such a success, that the Piranhas are planning to hold an even bigger End of Season party at the conclusion of the racing season.
